Our clients chose two soft shades of grey – Mid Lead for the island and perimeter cabinets and French Grey Pale for the tall cabinets, both by Little Greene, for their new kitchen. It was a new glazed extension to a traditional home, and the owners wanted to combine period and contemporary styles. Whilst the cabinetry has a very classic look, when paired with 50mm deep Glacier White Corian work surfaces, the look becomes much more contemporary. The tall cabinets opposite the island, which house the larder, and general grocery storage areas, are painted in the same colour as the walls, so all the surfaces blend together without any harsh borders.
