The granite has been cut into the window sill and there is a curve just in front of the tap which is a nice touch. The granite worktop for the sink area will require less maintenance than the oak worktop which has been used for the rest of the kitchen.

The oak storage racks are so deep we do not like to call them spice racks as that does them a disservice. The corresponding depth of the internal shelves is reduced making it harder to lose things in the back of the larder. There is a deep drawer below.
