We were installing a kitchen this week in Shepherd’s Bush. The customer wanted an open wall cabinet flanked with two single door cupboards.
The cabinet will be able to store the customer’s cookery books on the bottom shelf of the open area.
The open are is less deep than the adjacent cupboards to give the cabinet more interest at the base and around the cornice.
The photo is not from the finished kitchen but just after we had installed the cabinet. It is painted in Farrow and Ball Light Blue. The cornice is a simple 45 degree cornice. Satin Nickel knobs on the doors. The inside of the open area has a solid back panel and the painted shelves are adjustable up and down by 50mm.
