Handle less painted shaker kitchen Near Bordeaux, France

I contacted Higham after having seen their kitchen featured in Homes and Gardens – the handle less shaker style was exactly what I was looking for. The team at Higham were in constant touch with friendly emails and occasional phone conversations to sort it all out. I took photos of the old kitchen and a video of the access to the kitchen and said what sort of kitchen I wanted and the features – shelves for my cook books, a table to sit at and a wine rack as well as open shelves and deep drawers and a larder.

A series of plans followed, each responding to either me clarifying further what I wanted, or the measurements or the appliances that I had ordered so that we finally ended with the design that we agreed was best. I spoke to the team many times – particularly Erin and Izzy but also to Tim and they were all just great at sorting out how to achieve what I was looking for.

Tim and the team stayed available and helpful to the man I had who was fitting the kitchen which was great. I absolutely love the finished kitchen, not just how it looks (although I love how it looks), but the quality of the workmanship and materials is the best I have ever seen – the thickness of the wood, and the quality of the drawers and fittings is just fabulous.

My friends and family are all ‘well jell’ and I am just so pleased with it. Thank you.

Deb
