More and more of our clients are requesting the inclusion of filtered hot water taps in their kitchen designs, as a helpful assistance to cooking and general life. As the popularity of these appliances has grown, the variety of models available has increased also, meaning that there is now a wide choice of designs available to suit every kitchen.
Currently proving very popular is the range of Quooker boiling water taps, which provide water at 100 degrees straight from the tap. Their claim is that having one of their taps will remove the need for a kettle at all. The heated water is stored under pressure to reduce the energy required to keep it hot, while the tank and fixtures are slimline enough to not be too intrusive in a sink unit. Quooker taps come in a few different
styles and finishes, such as the polished chrome ‘Design’ model with a 3 litre tank, shown here in a recently installed Higham Furniture kitchen. Including a Quooker tap in your design will not only ensure that you will always have boiling water to hand at a moments notice, but also adds a stylish touch to any modern kitchen.
