In this Chiswick home, we created a bespoke Framed Shaker Kitchen with slim 45mm rails and stiles for a light, contemporary feel. The cabinetry combines painted Maple hardwood wood painted doors, Oak drawers and Tulipwood framework, set on lacquered oak veneer ply carcasses. Inset Aged Brass handles complement Horizon Carrara Quartz worktops, while the Frame to Ground plinth enhances the clean-lined aesthetic.
The colour palette pairs Little Greene Aquamarine 138 cabinetry with Farrow & Ball Wevet walls, bringing softness and clarity to the space. A Pure White Lines Moscow Chandelier and Pooky wall lights provide layered lighting, while Artisan of Devizes Wychwood Limestone flooring adds warmth underfoot. Furniture pieces—Magis Bombo Stools, Eames Vitra dining chairs, a marble-topped table and Aria’s 366 Concept chairs in powder pink boucle—round out the room with understated character.
Discreetly tucked away behind stylish pocket doors, the dedicated utility/pantry area is a game-changer for modern living. This clever design not only dramatically expands the kitchen’s storage capacity but also creates a brilliant “secret hideaway” for those moments when life gets a bit hectic. It provides a place where one can swiftly tuck away a sink full of dishes or a countertop of messy prep work, instantly restoring a pristine, show-home feel to the beautiful kitchen. It’s the ultimate solution for effortless entertaining and everyday elegance.
