A conversation before anything else.

A call with a Higham designer, for homeowners in all stages of planning.

Looking to transform your kitchen space? We begin with a conversation.

Looking to transform your kitchen space? We begin with a conversation.

The best way to understand more about Higham Furniture and how we can help you, is by booking a short call with one of our designers. We don't want to sell you anything, but we would love to understand what you're thinking about, answer the questions that are genuinely useful at this stage, and help you decide whether the way we work suits the kind of project you have in mind.

If it does, we'll talk about what the next step might look like, and if it doesn't, we'll tell you honestly and we'll part on good terms.

How we prefer to start

Many kitchen decisions go wrong early, not because people make bad choices, but because they make them before they have enough information to go on. A showroom visit at the wrong moment can anchor you to something before the brief is properly formed. A quote before you've understood the process gives you a number without the context to judge it. We'd rather start differently.

A design conversation generally takes twenty minutes, but will often be longer depending on how much time you need. It gives you a clear picture of what a handmade kitchen actually involves, the process, timeline, and the investment before any of that becomes a decision. You ask what you need to ask. We answer honestly.

There's nothing to commit to. There's no follow-up pressure. It's simply a better way to begin.

What the call covers

The conversation is led by your questions. Most people want to understand some version of the same things, and our designers will give you direct, substantive answers on all of them.

  • What a Higham kitchen realistically costs, and how investment relates to specification
  • How the process works from the first meeting through to installation
  • How long the journey takes, and how it fits within a wider renovation programme
  • Whether what you're planning is feasible, and where the typical complexities lie
  • What it feels like to work with us and whether that suits how you like to work

By the end of the call, you'll know enough to decide whether a next step makes sense.
