The Petersfield kitchen is a richly grounded space defined by its quiet classicism and contemporary edge. Framed Shaker cabinetry constructed with eighty millimeter rails and stiles sets the architectural tone, while a palette of earthy neutrals and antique metals gives the scheme warmth and depth. Designed for both entertaining and everyday ease, the kitchen balances calm symmetry with striking focal points such as a burnished copper island top and layered quartz shelving.
At the heart of the kitchen is the cabinetry. Carcasses are formed from lacquered oak veneer ply for strength and natural beauty, while doors are made in painted maple with tulipwood framework. The base cabinets are set on inset plinths measuring a lower than normal seventy millimeters, while the tall larder and secret stable door stand directly on the frame. The island is supported by solid legs at fifty five millimeters thick, adding sculptural weight and presence.
Connected by materials but designed for purpose, the boot room continues the cabinetry language of the kitchen while embracing a more utilitarian focus. Built in the same Shaker style with eighty millimetre rails and stiles, the boot room is highly functional yet deeply styled.
