We often come across rooms that are not simple in shape and have to have some custom bespoke work carried out.  We usually do this work as part of the design and manufacture rather than site modification.  Apart from the fact that it speeds up installation, it also allows a better finish and better function.

This customer had an existing chimney which already had a large alcove in it.  The oven stack is in the chimney alcove and the larder is built around the right hand pier of the chimney.

The bespoke handmade larder is not perfectly symmetrical due to the pier size but it does offer the best use of storage and space with spice storage in front of the pier and drawers to the right.
