J.G. wanted to replace her tired kitchen with a handmade painted kitchen. Using Solid Oak worktops and oak features such as pullout trays, larder interior and oak plate rack.
The sink elevation is deeper than normal so that we have been able to hide the free standing washing machine and dryer behind furniture doors. A custom designed oak bookcase/plate rack was made for this kitchen too.
The range elevation includes a large range cooker with extractor above. There is wall cabinet storage on this elevation too.
The huge larder uses storage racks on the back of the doors to reduce the depth of the internal shelves to make accessibility better. The Microwave is also hidden in the upper section of the larder. Below the larder drawers are drawers to take plates and large pots and pans. Next to the larder is a custom made cabinet to hide the boiler. The bottom section includes two pullout trays for the children and an integrated bin below.
The kitchen is painted in Farrow and Ball Light Blue which compliments the oak worktops and tiles very well.
