This light, spacious and airy kitchen features a peninsula with banquette seating, rather than a completely separate island. The owners had a lovely large space for us to work with, and wanted us to create an open plan kitchen-living-dining area suitable for the whole family and where owner Nicky could keep an eye on the children whilst she was cooking. Design decisions such as no wall units on either side of the extractor and an ultra-wide bespoke seven-drawer unit behind the hob make this kitchen superbly practical and stylishly unique.
