Ali Cooper commissioned Higham Furniture to design, build and install her new kitchen in her Period property in Southfields, London. She wanted an uncluttered well built kitchen with a contemporary feel. Higham Furniture proposed the handle-less shaker design with Corian worktops.
The shaker doors have a large rebate and there is a groove along the rebate on the opening side (opposite the hinge). The groove allows comfortable opening of the doors.
The kitchen is painted in Farrow and Ball Pavilion Gray with a Cameo White Corian worktop.
This kitchen has been in Homes and Gardens as in their "Dream Kitchen" feature in their August 2011 issue.
