This striking kitchen was carefully designed with the client to achieve stunning results. We designed a tiered island, the raised part of the island wraps around the side in an L-shape. The thought behind this was to help merge the kitchen with the living space, making it a symbiotic area for the family to live in. We think this island gives this kitchen a unique and truly distinctive look. Our brief was to produce a traditional look with a contemporary twist and we think we have achieved this with the simple framework and moulding on the door panels. The mixture of Little Greene’s French Grey and Basalt gives the space a timeless feel and the Armac Martin handles finish off the sophisticated look. We love the symmetry within the tall units and the glazed wall cabinets and who could forget those oak island trays.
