We were commissioned to design and build a Shaker kitchen with a modern look that would blend into a wonderful listed lodge house – dating from 1812. This could have been a rather daunting project but our clients had thought long and hard about what they wanted, and had already pretty much decided on the layout. We just had to make sure that every cabinet provided the best and most logical storage space, and of course, that everything was millimetre perfect. The layout includes a Breakfast cupboard above a bank of seven drawers, open shelving and a full height cupboard with internal crockery drawers and shelves. We’re really proud of this kitchen, which adds contemporary style and logistics to a beautiful period home.
